Po Kok Buddhist Research Society established on 23rd October, 1932.

Venerable Ai Ting was invited by Lady Clara from Jiangsu to Hong Kong and established the Po Kok Buddhist Research Society in Haiyun Lanruo, Castle Peak.

Tung Lin Kok Yuen officially established on 17th May, 1935.

Tung Lin Kok Yuen was officially opened. It comprised the Po Kok Buddhist Society and Po Kok Free School.

Lady Clara passed away on 5th January, 1938.

Lady Clara, the founder of Tung Lin Kok Yuen passed away, Madam Lam Ling Chun succeeded as the Superintendent of the Yuen and the Principal of Po Kok School.

The opening ceremony of the new school building in Po Kok Free School was held on 8th November, 1951.

The construction of new school building in Po Kok Free School (located at No. 11 Shan Kwong Road, Happy Valley) was completed. Madam Grantham was officiating the grand opening.

The opening ceremony of Lin Kok Memorial Building was held on 16th December, 1954.

In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Lady Clara’s birth, Lin Kok Memorial Building completed and officially opened by Sir Robert Ho Tung.

Po Kok School (now renamed Yuen Long Po Kok Primary School) was founded on 20th December, 1958.

In order to carry on Lady Clara’s aspiration, giving a study chance to children lived in rural, Sir Law Man Kam and his wife established a Po Kok Primary school at Yuen Long Hung Shui Kiu Tan Kwai Tsuen. This was an aided school and the first Buddhist School at...

The opening ceremony of “Man Kam Memorial Building”was held on 17th April, 1961.

“Man Kam Memorial Building” completed and officially opened by Governor Sir Robert Black, GCMG, OBE.

Madam Lam Ling Chun passed away on 19th February, 1966.

Madam Lam Ling Chun passed away, Venerable Man Sang succeeded as the Superintendent of the Yuen and Venerable Kok On became the Principal of the school.
