The Oral History Project
The Oral History Project provides professional training courses for participants and through conducting interviews, documenting, and organizing “oral histories”, trains them to become professional oral history interviewers, to understand the development of Tung Lin Kok Yuen and Hong Kong Buddhism from different perspectives, and to carry on the spiritual and cultural traditions of Buddhism.

The first and second phases of the Oral History Project were successfully completed in November 2021 and August 2022, and the training for the third phase is now underway.

Now, we are capturing the untold stories of our history by inviting trained volunteers to interview individuals who wish to share their personal memories and stories related to Tung Lin Kok Yuen, with the aim of filling gaps in our history and promoting the development of Buddhism in Hong Kong.
