Tung Lin Kok Yuen, Canada Society established, Mr. Robert H. N. Ho became the Chairman of the Board, Venerable Xiande became the Abbot.
1995
- Venerable Ci Hui became the fifth Superintendent of the Yuen.
- The Buddhistdoor Global website was founded by Mr. Robert H. N. Ho in Canada.
- “Lin Kok” a quarterly publication was launched in Canada.
1998
- Professor Lee Chack Fan, GBS, SBS, JP, became the Chairman of the Board.
- Venerable Wing Miu succeeded Venerable Ci Hui to become the 6th Superintendent of the Yuen.
2000
- With the great vision of Venerable Sik Hin Hung, and the support of Professor Chack Fan Lee and Professor Cecilia Chan, Centre of Buddhist Studies of the University of Hong Kong was established under the patronage of Tung Lin Kok Yuen.
- Venerable Miu Wai succeeded Venerable Wing Miu to become the 7th Superintendent of the Yuen.
2005
International Buddhist University in Thailand was funded by Tung Lin Kok Yuen (From 2005 to 2007).
Mr. Robert H. N. Ho founded The Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Foundation in 2005.
2006
University of Toronto at Scarborough was funded by Tung Lin Kok Yuen to improve the curriculum of its Buddhist Studies programs.
The “Ming Kok” special edition was compiled and published in “Ming Pao News” supplement section every Wednesday for four consecutive years.
2008
Venerable Tsang Chit succeeded Venerable Miu Wai to become the 8th Superintendent of the Yuen.
2009
- The Government declared the Tung Lin Kok Yuen a Grade I historic building in Hong Kong.
- “Ming Kok” special edition was converted to and published in Buddhistdoor.
2011
- To celebrate the 80 years of commitment to education, Tung Lin Kok Yuen published a commemorative publication.
- “B Channel” online radio was launched by the Buddhistdoor.
2015
80th Anniversary Celebration, a conservation project for the historic building and related artifacts was launched.
2016
- "Pentatonic Buddhist Chanting” was introduced to the public through “Buddhist Chants in Scent and Light” multimedia stage performance for two consecutive years in collaboration with Zuni.
- “Cloud Haven” established, a Buddhist Centre in Chai Wan, Hong Kong.
2017
Tung Lin Kok Yuen officially a Declared Monument in Hong Kong.
2018
“Radiant Sun and Compassionate Cloud” concert in the Grand Hall.
2019
Tung Lin Kok Yuen has invited affiliated and friendly Buddhist primary and secondary schools to hold the 'Universal Happiness' Music Concert at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
2020
The Conservation Project of Tung Lin Kok Yuen starts.
2021
To celebrate Po Kok's 90th anniversary, Tung Lin Kok Yuen organized a variety of events.
The Rehabilitation Ceremony of Tung Lin Kok Yuen Wang Fat Ching She was held in April to commemorate the completion of the renovation. Additionally, the Buddhist Counselling Centre of the Centre of Buddhist Studies, The University of Hong Kong, Tung Lin Kok Yuen, was inaugurated during the same event.
2022
Tung Lin Kok Yuen organizes oral history programs. The ultimate goal is to establish a comprehensive historical database for both the Yuen and the Buddhist community in Hong Kong.
2024
To celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2025, Tung Lin Kok Yuen has organized a variety of events this year.
